The Congress in Goa has decided to take strict actions against the film ‘Kya Super Kool Hain Hum’ and are planning to ban it.
They will be filing an FIR against the film, as they think that some of the portions were offensive to the sensibilities of the Christian community.
The congress wants the film banned or censoring the controversial scenes like the one where Chunky Pandey, playing the role of a priest, solemnise the wedding of a dog and a bitch.
The state government has no say in banning a film. That power vests with the Censor Board. Apparently, “The Da Vinci Code” was banned several years back following protests by Christian groups. Let’s see if they succeed this time too cos disrespecting one’s religious beliefs is not acceptable.
