People slapping legal notices to filmmakers, it seems, has become the latest trend in Bollywood. The latest film to run into legal trouble is Ajay Devgn-Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Son of Sardar’.
A senior lawyer, Navkiran Singh, has issued a legal notice to the filmmakers, saying that the film has hurt religious sentiments of the Sikh community.
Apparently, one dialogue in the trailer which says “in case Sardars would not have been there, then on whom would the jokes be made” has not gone down well with the Sikhs. They believe that the trailer shows them in a bad light.
Navkiran Singh has requested Devgn to delete such dialogues from the film in public interest or his office would to take legal action against the Bollywood actor and all other persons involved in execution of this film on criminal as well as civil side.
