For your first impression on a person to be great, you have to dress fabulous! And so clothes are an essential part of looking beautiful. Presenting to you some easy ways to work those sequins and make you look as fabulous as that diva on the big screen.
So you want to wear those shiny, shimmery clothes without looking like you’ve just drowned in a lake of sequins? Alright. I’ve got your back. Here’s how.
Dress it up like Deepika Padukone. If you have a shiny gold skirt like the one DPad has worn, style it with a solid coloured top and match the rest of the accessories with the two colours. A sure shot winner!
As sexy as the skirt looks, one can’t help but notice the glam effect you’d get by wearing these black sequins shorts! They add just the perfect amount of Vavavoom to your whole look. Style these shimmery shorts with a contrasting colour! Also add on a blazer if you like to make the whole look a little more androgynous.
These are by far the easiest to pair. Although if mismatched with an outfit, a catastrophe may occur. These blingy heels would make anyone a diva. Just style them with the following:

Although i did mention that solid colours work best with a sequined item, animal prints however seem to tell a different story. This gorgeous blouse worn with those pants would look perfect, and diva like. Experimenting with these kind of clothes helps in finding new trends and discovering more about fabrics and clothes in general!
As far as the sequin dress is concerned, my only advice would be to go for branded ones like Herve Leger’s. Honestly looking at the non branded ones available at any ol’ shop just won’t do you any good. So if you want to rock it in something shimmering, make sure you’re ready to spend quite a few bucks….and it will be worth it! Style this dress with colour co-ordinated heels, jewellery and a clutch and you’re ready to rock the party.
