Deepika, You need to be selective in chisnoog your films and the roles you play. Criticism that you are not acting quite well will always be there. For example, I remember a Tamil magazine wrote a review on the Malayalam film Yathra in 1986, criticizing Shobana to be having a blank face with no expressions at all, but what is her status today in the cinema industry, she is considered to be versatile. So taking up good roles will refine and hone your acting skills. I don’t think people comparing you with Aishwarya Rai is acceptable. Comparing your acting in OSO with that of Aish’s acting in Iruvar, I can say, she stands tall before your performance. Don’t lose heart, you have talent, your facial expressions are good. Cheer up! Work hard, may be one day you would have bagged an award as best female actress which none of the Indian actresses would have bagged so far. Wish you all the best!
