Congress president Sonia Gandhi has invited the newly-weds, Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani, to visit her 10 Janpath residence.
Esha’s mother and actor Hema Malini says, “She (Sonia) said that due to security reasons, she wouldn’t be able to make it to the marriage. She said that when they (Esha and Bharat) visit Delhi, they are invited to her place. It’s a very sweet gesture from her side.”
The wedding ceremony was a private affair.
Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Deol with girlfriend Preeti Desai, Manoj Kumar, Vinod Khanna and Vyjayanthimala made it to the wedding.
