Both Madhuri and Sridevi looked beautiful in their sarees at Esha Deol – Bharat Takhtani’s wedding.
Madhuri opted for a white and pink saree, while Sridevi posed for cameras in her salmon colored number.
I’m going with Sridevi here. The color looks fab on her. Not a fan of Madhuri’s saree.

I love both these elegant ladies… but this comparison is quite unfair… bcoz Sridevi over the years has hewn herself as a nation wide icon of contemporary glamour…. She’s been doing yoga keeping very fit and fashion savy…She is tall and particular when in sarees she is just magnificent… Madz on the other hand is very beautiful as well but her fashion sense is not quite good… Though she seems to have made it okay this time; at times an attempt to look different goes ghastly wrong for her…
Since, Sridevi looks so vibrant here i would love to see Madz how she would look when of Sri’s age…. as it seems Sri is aging much more gracefully than Madz.. and my pick here would defo be Sri…

When it’s sarees, Sridevi rules. No one can drape those six yards the way she does.
Sridevi’s saree is so classy. The delicate pink oozes style and sophistication with the diamonds adding the right dash of bling. Mads turnip saree is way too downmarket.

We can’t compare. Sri always been superlatively fashion savvy and maintained herself accordingly. Madhuri even in her heydays never got her fashion right. One actress who never got the grip of it.
Madhuri has no fashion sense…its very funny, she should have by now learn how to dress properly…after all she belong to the glamour world where dressing properly is important.

What is ashtonishingly commendable is how sri experiments successfully wearing right colours right way, apt to the occasions. Even when she was wearing very traditional Kanjeevaram at Ramcharan Teja’s wedding she didn’t go overboard with colours like Vidya or with jewellery like Rekha… Her fashion looks classy, savvy yet very approachable.
What Madhuri is wearing here was similar to what sri wore to Hyatt Hyderbad opening but different colour. But Madhuri’s blouse made it look too common. Sri had made it classy then by wearing light coloured blouse. These little nuances do matter big time in fashion and that makes Sri a true fashion legend.
May be Madhuri’s personality need “Gorishly lavish colours”(bhadkeela) to enhance her effect. Remember purple and green curtains and drapes of HAHK.

Sridevi, makes the saree work.. Not the best of the color to wear it on a big time reception of Deols, but what makes special is sridevi carries it off exceptionally well like she does for anything she wears. Sridevi wins here though Madhuri had a flashy color to show off.
sri is a phenomenon n a Fashion ICON!!! plz dont compare anybody with her…she is in a league of her OWN!!!

SRIDEVI WAS AND WILL ALWAYZ B THE MOST VERSATILE ACTRESS OF BOLLYWOOD, SHE DESERVES A WAX FIGURE AT MADAME TUSSAUDS MUSEUM INSTEAD OF MADHURI(madhuri is very beautiful but not as versatile as sridevi)! Will watch english vinglish at least 2 times in the big screen! Will buy 2 copies of this magazine, one for collection and one for keepibg in the sitting room for all to see and praise!
