While Akshay Kumar’s recent Bollywood success is bound to hold his next in good stead, what with Salman Khan lending his voice for the film too, the Mollywood duo is not far behind.
Priyadarshan’s sequel to his 2006 surprise hit — Malaamal Weekly, which also marks actor Rajeev Pillai B-Town debut, strongly relies on the ace director being able to rediscover his magic touch as far as comedy is concerned.
Prithviraj’s Bollywood debut has a strong billing as Rani Mukerji’s return and Anurag Kashyap’s production. Aiyya also boasts of an interesting storyline of a Marathi girl, who woos a stranger because he smells good.
As for which of these films will manage to rock the box office, only time will tell.
