I notice everyone doing articles on Sonam Kapoor and other actresses that MIGHT show up to Cannes but I still haven’t seen anyone do a style post for Aishwarya Rai.
I know that her recent weight gain hasn’t gone well with most people but I still think she is fabulous. From now until Cannes (about two weeks) she still can lose some weight and look amazing. I am actually looking forward to seeing her on the red carpet.
Knowing Aishwarya she will definitely get first dibs on an amazing selection of clothing from Armani and Elie Saab (her go to Designers for major events) but maybe she will surprise us and wear something totally different (maybe an Indian Designer).
Whatever she chooses I think she will always look good.

WOW!! SUperb post Skataria!!!! I personally love the Christian Dior Spring 2012 it looks vintage and will go well with her weight ,also the Marchesa Spring and Armani Prive Spring gowns.She is a little plump but she is so so beautiful,so she will look great!

The most beautiful woman in the world is a title she is known as through out the world. Nowadays every other woman is called that or wants to be that, but Aishwarya was one of the first women to be called that.And even in this state she looks better than 90% of women.Anyways moving on to the more important thing, I love all of these dresses. If you are a woman you know that it happens to everyone and its normal. She isn’t hiding! She is aware of her weight issue and still shows up for events. She doesn’t care what you people think. Honestly, going by the recent pictures, her body is not in shape. In fact, her body would be considered OBESE by the COUTURE/HIGH-BRAND houses. Thus, none of the outfits will look great on her. And, I am pretty sure that COUTURE houses will not have a time/money to make custom couture for Aishwarya. If they do, they would probably spend that much time on A-lists celebs(with great body) that would gather as much (or if more) attentions. Therefore, I think Aishwarya should just stick with Indian traditional clothes (like Saree from Anamika or others). Let her beauty shine.
