1. A Classic White Shirt:
I’m sure every man has at least one white shirt hanging in his closet. And if you don’t, then you need to buy one pronto. Make sure it fits you perfectly and it’s crisp. There’s nothing worse than a lousy and dull white shirt. The beauty of white shirt is its versatility. You can wear it for a casual date or for a business meeting. And it’s a classic, never goes out of vogue.
2. Blue Jeans:
A well-fitted pair of blue denims is another life-savior. The key here is to get a well fitted jeans. It shouldn’t be too tight or too loose. Preferably, go for darker shades, they look really good. Pair it with a simple t-shirt or your white shirt, you can never go wrong with this.
3. A Formal Suit:
Every guy must have a well fitted Business Suit. Tailoring is the key here. It should fit you immaculately. And if you own only one, make sure it’s a solid colored suit preferably Black, Gray or Navy Blue. Pairing it with different shirts and interesting ties, would give it a new look every time. Go for a simple style, cos that would never go out of fashion and would work for your formal business meetings and for weddings too.
4. A simple t-shirt:
A simple tee preferably a solid colored one, is another important item. Pair it with your denims and loafers/sneakers and you are good to go.
5. Classic Black Shoes:
Shoes can make or break your look. That’s how important owning a nice pair of shoes is. Invest your money in a pair of classic black shoes. You’ll surely get a lot of female attention for you nice polished shoes. Also, always remember to match your black shoes with a black belt. Black shoes work with Black and gray pants perfectly. And never wear white socks with black shoes. That’s a Cardinal Sin.
6. A Sweater/Pullover:
A nice V-Neck Sweater can add that much needed sophistication to your look. I would recommend you buy a colored sweater rather than going for the usual blacks and grays. Pick a warm color which you can carry off. It would add the much needed vibrance to your wardrobe.
7. Sneakers:
Apart from your black shoes, you also need to own a pair of Sneakers. They are perfect for a casual day out, as they are comfortable and they look great with denims. You can opt for Loafers too.
8. A Jacket:
You can buy a biker jacket or a simple jacket, as per your own taste and preference. But again, it should look classy. Stay away from the gaudy looking ones.
9. Tie:
Every man should atleast own two ties. Tie is an interesting way to add color to your wardrobe. Go for a solid colored one and/or a striped one. Make sure they go with almost all your shirts. Stay away from the jazzy and the tacky ones.
10. A Traditional Outfit:
For all the Pujas and other rituals, make sure you have a traditional outfit. A nice long kurta with churidaars/Pyjamas and you’ll surely charm the women around you. You can even pair it with your jeans.
Apart from these 10 items, you also need to have a few vital accessories, which includes a nice wallet (Get a new one if its worn out), a few pair of socks and a nice watch.

I agree with everything and have everything except the sneakers. Sneakers suck and they totally ruin my style. I prefer some cheaper Guess boots with my jeans. I think it looks better. I’ve stopped wearing sneakers altogether. Even certain dress shoes are damn comfortable. Or maybe I’ve just gotten used to them!
