Ranveer took the Industry by storm, when he debuted last year with Band Bajaa Baraat. Everyone said that he is the Next Superstar. But, Somehow those expectations didn’t culminate into reality. His Next film, Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl, came after an year and performed average at the Box Office.
Ranveer has been refusing some very tempting offers because he is bound by his contract with YashRaj films. The contract asks Ranveer to seek Yrf’s approval before signing any film.
The only film that Ranveer has signed, out of Yrf, is Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera.
Is this contractual obligation, creating an obstacle for Ranveer’s promising road to Stardom? Well as they say, Out of Sight, Out of Mind.
Ranveer defends himself by saying, “Yes, like any other newcomer, I signed a contract with YRF. I’m their protégé and I’m positive that YRF will not hinder my growth,” he said.
